My favorite actor is John Wayne. How could we go to Ireland and not visit Cong, the village that is the site of the film The Quiet Man. The village is described as a quiet village of quaint homes with thatched roofs but the reality is it has grown into a crowded village filled with things to attract tourists. But, it is still the site of a movie that I love so much. John Wayne is gone, but his films live forever.
